About Madhucon Projects Ltd

Madhucon Projects Limited (MPL), a Hyderabad based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, was incorporated in March 1990 as Madhu Continental Constructions Pvt Ltd. Known for building roads, bridges, flyovers, irrigation projects, dams, canals, tunnels, industrial projects, town ships and railway projects in India, the company has been recognised with awards like Outstanding Performance and Super Quality Construction in 1994, Fastest Growing Construction Company in 2003 and 2004, and Innovation in Road Construction Award in 2005. It has also floated a Global Depositary Receipts (GDR) in 2006.

MPL is involved in the National Highways, Airports, Irrigation, Hydel Power and Property Development sectors. It has been executing various projects since 1997 including National Highways, Hyderabad flyovers and Hymavathi Hydel Dam in Karnataka. It has also bagged various contracts worth Rs. 3200 million, 3100 million and 2500 million from the National Highways Authority of India in the years 1997-2008. The company is also looking to enter overseas markets and has established its presence in the Power Sector with equity participation in Simhapuri Energy in 2007. It successfully completed Road Improvement Works in Pune in September 2007 and had entered Jaipur-Agra Expressways in 2009.

MPL has completed over 12,000 lane KMs across India and is currently working on work worth Rs. 1193.99 Crore as of August 2021. With the increasing government impetus on infrastructure development, the company is on a path to bag several prestigious projects and establish its presence in the international market.
