About Madhav Marbles and Granites Ltd

Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd. was established in Jaipur, Rajasthan in 1989 with Rajsingh Dungarpur, J.H. Dashora, En. R.K. Bapna, and Lata Mangeshkar as its first promoters, specialising in the production of marbles & granites for tiles used for flooring and wall cladding in residential and commercial complexes and also for interior decoration. Following a public issue in May 1992, the company set up an Export-Oriented Unit (EOU) for the production of granite tiles with an installed capacity of 138,000 sq mtr/pa and another for marble tiles, with a capacitance of 361,338 sq mtr/pa. Its products are exported to over 20 countries, the largest being the US, Germany, Holland, Singapore, and Australia, for which the company has bagged the Capexil Award seven times consecutively, the last being awarded in 1998-99. MMGL has additionally set up a 100 EOU for producing polished granite slabs, and acquired two wind turbine generators with a capacity of 1.25 MW each in January 2005. Rose Marble Limited has become its subsidiary in 2001-02, achieving 51.27% stake in the company.
