Greenline Tea Exports (GTEL) is an Assam-based company that was established in 1965 and specializes in the cultivation and marketing of tea. It is headed by Mr. P.L. Sutodiya, and undertook numerous development and expansion projects in 1995-96. In spite of the tough times due to decreasing demand and uncontrolled cost inflation, the company showed a marginal profit in 1999-2000. With over 50 years of experience in this competitive industry, GTEL is dedicated to providing the highest quality tea to customers around the world. The company takes pride in sustainably taking care of its tea gardens and ensuring each cup of tea is of the highest quality while being conscious about its effect on the environment.
