About KSB Ltd

KSB Ltd, formerly known as KSB Pumps Ltd, is a leading manufacturer and seller of pumps spares and valves in India. Established in 1960, the company has 6 plants in India located at Pune, Ahmednagar, Chinchwad, Nashik, Khandala and Coimbatore. KSB has issued and allotted 8,701,516 bonus shares and acquired 75% of Pofran Engineering, making it a subsidiary in 2001. The Coimbatore plant manufactures submersible pumps and valves and the company has launched a new range of chemical pumps in 2000-01. It has discontinued manufacture of Velan design valves since 1999. The company has won the award for Leading HR Practices in Learning and Human Capital Development in 2010 and in 2011, it allotted 17,040,392 bonus shares. KSB holds ISO 14001: 2004 and ISO 9001: 2008 certification and has two subsidiaries: Pofran Sales and Agency Ltd, and MIL Controls Ltd. Its name changed from KSB Pumps Ltd to KSB Ltd in 2018 and it has opened a service station in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh and an Innovation Lab in Nashik. It has also opened a Mechanical Seal Repair Centre of KSB Asia West at KSB PPD Chinchwad in 2021. In July 2020, KSB supplied various pumps for critical applications in Nuclear Power Plants across India. The company has a capacity of 105000 Tonnes (Power Driven Pump), 170000 Tonnes (Industrial Values), 6800 Tonnes (Carbon Steel Alloy Steel) and 200 Tonnes (Alloy Iron Castings and Non Ferrous Castings).
