About Kotia Enterprises Ltd

Y I P Sehgal and the late Ashok Kumar Wadhawan International Pumps and Projects was incorporated in 1980 as a private limited company. Later on in 1994, it became a public limited company and they established a turnkey division for executing turnkey projects for different government departments. They also marketed pumps and related products and entered into a dealership agreement with SU Motors P Ltd Bombay for their pumps. The company diversified into the manufacturing of alternators in 1992, an important component used in power generating sets. In 1995, they set up a pilot plant in Okhla, New Delhi and a full-fledged project in Noida UP for commercial production of 2600 pa. Partial production from this plant commenced in December 1995.
