About Kaushalya Infrastructure Development Corpn Ltd

Kaushalya Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (KIDC) was incorporated in 1992 and converted into a public limited company in 2002. The focus of the company is on executing construction contracts pertaining to infrastructure, real estate development and sale of land, and operating hotels. In the past 6 years, KIDC completed 31 projects and is currently engaged in 16 projects in Eastern India. It has serviced many reputed clients like Power Energy Dept. Gangtok Sikkim, Engineering Projects India Ltd, etc. In 2007, it came out with an IPO offering 95,00,000 equity shares at a premium of Rs. 50 totaling Rs. 57 Crores. KIDC also formed subsidiaries like Kaushalya Nirman Pvt. Ltd, Bengal KDC Housing Development Ltd and signed a joint venture in 2008 with WBSIDC for developing industrial parks. Kaushalya Township Pvt. Ltd became an associate of the company in 2015 after Bengal KDC Housing Development Ltd transferred 33482 shares.
