Kanel Oil and Export Industries, established in Gujarat on January 29, 1992, is a public limited company which set up a 100 export-oriented integrated castor seed processing complex. It produces 28200 tpa of castor oil and 30600 tpa of castor deoiled cakes, both of which are used in several businesses such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, plastics, and rubber industries. It sells its products in India, primarily through its branch offices all over the major cities and hopes to expand its base in the US, Czechoslovakia, Korea, Japan, and other countries.
