About JMD Ventures Ltd

JMD Telefilms Industries Limited is an India-based company operating in the music industry. It offers its services both by way of recording as well as renting studio to other music producers and recorders, in addition to creating music albums for the Company under the brand name JMD. It has its music studio in Kolkata, and offers various genres of music such as Hindi, devotional and regional languages. The company has a joint venture with Shemaroo Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., and also entered into an agreement with Onesource Techmedia Ltd. in FY2010 to permit the telecasting of its recorded songs on various television channels. Established in 1984, JMD Telefilms, originally named Avtar Finance Consultants, is a public limited company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
