About Jayant Agro Organics Ltd

Jayant Agro Organics (JAOL), a member company of the Jayant Oil Mills Group, was set up in 1993 with an investment financed by a public issue. Its refining and hydrogenating castor oil, find applications for paints, varnishes, printing inks, lubricants, etc. By September 1993, it had acquired the status of a 100% Export Oriented Unit. The total capacity of the hydrogenated castor oil was further increased to 60 tonnes per day and an effluent treatment and recovery plant was set up in 1997-98. During 2000-2001, the company reported excellent performance, and additional capacities were set up in 2002-03 for hydroxy stearic acid and castor oil. Moreover, the company has also established a separate division for the import and export of commodities and merchandise manufactured by others.
