About Jai Balaji Industries Ltd

Jai Balaji Industries Ltd is one of the largest steel producers in private sector Eastern India. They have five manufacturing facilities located in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh, and produce products like sponge iron, pig iron, TMT bars, and mild steel among others. The company was established in the year 1999 and went public in October 2003. Since then, the company has gradually increased their capacity by increasing investments in their existing infrastructure. They have signed MoUs with the Government of West Bengal and Chhattisgarh for setting up integrated steel plants and a 600MW thermal power project in Chhattisgarh. Furthermore, they have three wholly owned subsidiaries - Nilachal Iron and Power Limited, Jai Balaji Steels Purulia Limited and Jai Balaji Energy Purulia Limited. Their combined annual capacity is 12 lakh Metric Tonne, 35 lakh Metric Tonne and 2.4 lakh Metric Tonne respectively.
