About ISMT Ltd

ISMT Limited, formerly The Indian Seamless Metal Tubes LTD, was founded in 1989 by a group of technocrats to produce high-quality seamless tubes in India. ISMT is QS 9000 and ISO 9002 approved, ISO/TS16949:2002 certified, and ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified. It’s two main divisions are Tube and Steel divisions, and it manufactures a range of value-added products, including bearings, gear blanks, shifter sleeves, and more. Aside from these, it has one of the most modern alloy steel plants in India, located at Jejuri. This plant delivers 190000 MTPA and the compan has the capability to produce seamless tubes with a diameter ranging from 6mm to 273mm. ISMT has undergone numerous mergers and acquisitions over the years, most recently Structo Hydraulics. The good news is that the company is currently undergoing debottlenecking and modernization to increase their tube capacity from 155,000 TPA to 200,000 TPA, and their steel capacity from 240,000 TPA to 350,000 TPA.
