About Indian Card Clothing Company Ltd

Indian Card Clothing Company (ICCCL) is a joint venture between two British companies - The English Card Clothing Company and Carclo Engineering Group, and was incorporated as a private limited company in July 1955, originally manufacturing card clothing suitable for all types of fibres. Today, ICCCL holds a 100 EOU at Ahmedabad and boasts ISO 9002 recognition from the Bureau Veritas Quality International. Since December 1993, after the completion of a rights issue premium amount of Rs 10.4 crore, ICCCL has made numerous investments - namely in a joint venture with Spindelfabrik Suessen Schurr Stahlecker Grill Germany; involving in a joint venture with Texmaticc India Ltd; and investing in the Residential housing Project of Nirvan Builders and Developers Ltd. The company also holds 60% of the issued share capital of Garnett Wire Ltd, a U.K. based company. Furthermore, the company's R&D centre is beginning to make a contribution to the development of newer and improved products and processes. It is also planning to develop new products for carding applications along with the improvement of their processes.
