About Indian Acrylics Ltd

Indian Acrylics, originally set up as a joint sector project by R K Garg and the Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation in Feb.86, is a leading manufacturing company of acrylic fibre. Over the years, its installed capacity has been increased several times and in 200001 the company has established a Research Development Centre and introduced 0.9 denier fibre for the first time in the world. The company has received the Export Award from Government of India three times in a row for its best Export performance in Acrylic Staple Fibre from 200304. Antidumping duty has been imposed from countries including Japan, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Korea, USA, Thailand, Mexico, Germany and Turkey due to significant export performance of the company. The company is the largest Acrylic Fibre manufacturer in the country.
