About Celebrity Fashions Ltd

Celebrity Fashions Ltd, one of India’s leading garment exporters, is capable of manufacturing the largest number of trousers in the country. It specializes in the manufacture and sale of garments with two divisions, exports and domestic. With its subsidiaries, Indian Terrain Fashions Ltd and Celebrity Clothing Ltd, the company produces mens and boys shirts, womens and girls shirts, mens and boys shorts/trousers and womens and girls shorts/trousers. Established in 1988 as Celebrity Fashions Pvt Ltd, the company has established seven manufacturing facilities in Chennai with the latest being an export-oriented manufacturing plant in Irungattukottai with over 1200 machines that started trial production in July 2006. In September 2005, the company converted to a public limited company, and listed its equity shares in both The National Stock Exchange of India Ltd and The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd in January 2006. The company also has several subsidiaries, and in September 2009, it floated two subsidiaries, and in September 2010, transferred the Indian Terrain division to Indian Terrain Fashions Ltd.
