About Riba Textiles Ltd

Riba Textiles, established in Jan.89 as a private limited company and later converted to public, is engaged in the manufacture of terry towels at Chidana Panipat district in Haryana. The company initiated an expansion-cum-backward integration program in 1995-96 to increase its installed capacity from 250 tpa to 1499 tpa as well as to set up a spinning plant with capacity of 768 rotors for the captive production of cotton yarn. It is currently working towards establishing a dyeing facility as well. To fund this expansion, the firm issued shares to the public in March 1996. Furthermore, the firm is a registered 100 EOU and earned foreign exchange of Rs. 7.67 cr. in 1996-97, demonstrating a commitment to achieving organizational goals.
