About Hisar Metal Industries Ltd

Hisar Metal Industries, founded as a private limited company in May 1990, has come a long way in providing cold rolled stainless steel strips. It was converted into a public limited company in June 1992 and commercial production started at its plant in Hisar Haryana the next year with an installed capacity of 1800 tpa. This capacity was raised to 3600 tpa in between 1993-1994. The turning point for the company came when it enhanced the installed capacity to 6000 tpa in 1995. This initiative was part financed by the company’s public issue made in November 1995. To further stimulate growth, the company has plans to set up Bright Annealing and a 6 Hi Mill facilities, which are expected to benefit both the exports and domestic sales sector.
