About Harrisons Malayalam Ltd

Harrisons Malayalam Ltd is a member of the RPG group and has diversified business ventures ranging from tea and rubber plantations to trading of tea, coffee and spices. Founded in 1984, the company carried out a right issue in 1992 to finance expansion and diversification projects. Their factories are all ISO 9002 certified, and the company ventured into the floriculture field through a joint venture with Universal Plants of France. They export flowers to Holland and introduce new product varieties and develop the domestic market. Additionally, the company exports tea, spices, rubber and tissue cultures abroad. They have management contracts with two companies in Sri Lanka and have introduced a new brand of Assam tea under the name of 'Spencers'. Further, the firm plans to amalgamate three of its subsidiaries with itself.
