About Goodricke Group Ltd

Goodricke Group Ltd. (GGL) was established in 1977 and is the part of Duncan Lawrie Group, UK. GGL's primary business is to manufacture and cultivate tea and it has 18 tea estates across West Bengal and Assam. They sell bulk tea in both domestic and international markets, and produce Instant Tea from Dooars West Bengal. The company adopted acquistions to expand its tea plantation in Darjeeling District of West Bengal. In the year 2019-20, Goodricke Group Ltd. launched outlets in Kolkata andMumbai and also opened a dedicated bought leaf factory in Danguajhar Tea Garden. They acquired tea business of cigarette major Godfrey Phillips in October 2017, and remodeled three gardens Barnesbeg, Badamtam, and Thurbo into organic. Additionally, in 2021, the group opened an outlet in Gangtok. With a strong presence in two major Metro Cities and one in Gangtok, the company has successfully established a firm grasp in India's tea market.
