About GFL Ltd

Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd (GFL) is an India-based company part of the Inox group of companies and manufactures chemicals across various industries. It has a 110000 tonne caustic soda/chlorine plant, an 87500 tonne Chloromethane plant and a 90 MW combined coal and gas-based captive power plant. GFL is India's largest producer of the versatile polymer PTFE due to its outstanding chemical resistance, heat resistance,insulation, low-friction and non-stick properties applicable in a variety of industries. GFL has subsidiaries in the USA, Germany and China, and holds investments in Inox Leisure Ltd, Inox Wind and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd, among others. They currently have an installed capacity of 16000 TPA PTFE. GFL has initiated a Clean Development Mechanism Project to reduce green-house gas emissions, and are installin a 50 MW Wind Farm in Chotila, Surendranagar. They also plan to invest Rs.500 crores to increase their plants'installed capacity. The company also divested its stake in Inox Wind by a Offer for Sale in order to meet the public shareholding regulations in March 2018.
