About Chaman Metallics Ltd

Chaman Metallics Limited was incorporated in November 2003 and after converting into a Public Company in February 2008, it provides Direct Reduced Iron (sponge iron) services to steel producers. It has a 63 acre manufacturing facility in Chandrapur, Maharashtra with two Rotary kilns which have a total annual installed capacity of 72,000MT per annum. In-house testing laboratory ensures that the raw materials used, i.e. coal, iron ore and dolomite, conform to quality standards. After its acquisition in 2019, the Company now enjoys the benefits of the synergistic business operations of GR Group which operates in the metal alloys, sponge iron, MS ingots, and re-rolled products segments. To further expand its business vertical, Chaman Metallics raised Rs.24.21 crores through its public issue in January 2023.
