About Century Extrusions Ltd

Century Extrusions Ltd is a business promoted by M P Jhunjhunwala and C L Jhunjhunwala, specialized in the production of aluminium extrusions. Their products have a wide variety of applications, such as doors, windows, partitions, furniture, transport, and consumer durables. In February 1990, the company went public to part finance the Midnapore plant project of Rs. 10.08 crores. Century Extrusions Ltd have a technical tie-up with UBE Industries Japan and their products are used mainly by Ship Building, Aerospace, InteriorDecor, Railway, Jute, and Textile industries. In 199697, the installed capacity of aluminium extrusions was increased by 3600 TPA, and in 199798, the company was credited with ISO 9002 certification by M/s Det Norske Veritas Netherlands. However, by 200001, the accumulated losses had exceeded the networth and the company was referred to the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR).
