About Candour Techtex Ltd

Chandni Engineering Limited (CEL) was founded in 1986 and began their project activities due to the recession in the textile machinery industry in 1993. In 1994, they set up a plant in Daman and ran their project, partly facilitated by a public issue in October that year. CEL collaborated with Hanjin Textile Machinery Korea and Sinkwang Machinery Works Korea to manufacture Rapier looms and Auto Cop Change Looms, respectively. During 1999-2000, Chenille yarn produced by the company was widely accepted in both domestic and international markets. Hence, the company became a dominant player in the chenille yarn market. The technology for Auto Cop Change loom was acquired by M/s Sing Wang Machinery Co Ltd from South Korea.
