About Bannari Amman Spinning Mills Ltd

Bannari Amman Spinning Mills Ltd, part of the Coimbatore based Bannari Amman Group, is focusing on the manufacture of cotton yarn, woven and coated fabrics, as well as wind power generation. Established in July 1989, they have two spinning units near Dindigul, holding 137232 spindles, and a Weaving Division near Palladam with 135 installed looms. It also has a Processing & Technical Textiles unit at Annur with a production capacity of 24 lakh meters of coated fabrics annually. For energy efficiency, they have 4 windmills totaling 5 MW in Radhapuram, and 23 windmills of 800KW capacity in a total of 18.4MW in other locations. Their exports contribute to 24% of their production and the products available include Ne 20/1 to Ne 40/1 combed and carded knitting cotton yarn. In addition to this, they produce bed linens, mattress protectors, pillow protectors and quick dry fabrics for incontinence. Bannari Amman Spinning Mills Ltd holds ISO 9001:2000 certifications and is recognized as an Export House by the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade. Accumulating their installed capacity and recent expansion projects, they are reaching new heights.
