About Super Sales India Ltd

Super Sales Agencies (SSAL) was established in 18 Sep.81 and originally provided services for the erection of textile machinery. Later, the company began to market textile machinery produced by Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd in collaboration with Mori Seiki Japan and leasing generators to meet the requirements of smallscale industries. In Jan.85 SSAL acquired a spinning mill with 31104 spindles that went into production in 1994. To partfinance a new spinning mill of 14400 spindles at Pollachi Tamilnadu, the company issued 15.75 lac equity shares in Jan.92. It is notable that the yarn produced by this unit is of high quality. Additionally, SSAL increased the installed capacity of rotors by 216 Nos., although the sales in the textile machinery declined due to the recession and import of second hand machinery. To improve the agency division, SSAL is focusing on productivity, quality and cost reduction. Lastly, two of the units under the textile division are engaged in grey yarn production, one of which operated optimally throughout the year and is expected to have a better performance in the coming years.
