About Aries Agro Ltd

Aries AgroVet Industries Private Limited was founded by Dr. T.B. Mirchandani and Mrs. Bala Mirchandani in 1969. It became a public limited company in 1994 and was later renamed as Aries Agro Limited in 2006. The company, headquartered in Mumbai, produces Agromin Chelated Micronutrients and Chelamin Chelated Zinc at 4 manufacturing plants at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Kolkata with a combined installed capacity of 21600 tonnes per annum. It initially started off by providing mineral feed additives for birds and animals, and gradually became the brand leader in the field of mineral nutrition. In 1975, it diversified into Agrochemicals with Chelated Micronutrients and Plantomycin, a bactericide for Agriculture, followed by the introduction of plant hormones. In 2001, it included secondary nutrients, Sulphur, Magnesium and Calcium, and in 2002, it added value-added water-soluble complexes of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K).
