About Aplab Ltd

Aplab Ltd, formerly known as Applied Electronics, is an established professional electronics company founded by P S Deodhar and M G Bhatt in 1964. It specializes in designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing of high quality electronic equipment and power systems for various sectors. The company has units in Thane and Bhosari Pune and began a diversification programme in 1992-93 to manufacture electronic systems, including ATMs and BTM. It also launched products from the ELTRAC division such as Salary Dispenser Access Control System and Checkout Terminals. Aplab has obtained ISO 9002 Certificate from S T Q C Department of Electronics in 1995-96 and in 1998-99 began developing new products like Digital Transmission Analyser. In 2000, a strategic tie-up was made with Banqit AB Sweden for supplying banking solutions to Indian Banking & financial sector. Aplab earned foreign exchange worth Rs 0.16 crore and anticipates a business of Rs 3.0 crore from Fuel Dispensing Pumps alone.
