About ANS Industries Ltd

ANS Ltd is a Delhi, India based company involved in the business of manufacturing and exporting frozen fruits and vegetables in 1994. They have two business segments- Food Processing and Constructions- and are supported by an extensive marketing network. In 1995-96 the company came out with a public issue of 4.6 million shares and soon afterwards started their commercial production. In the year 2002-03 they put their plant in Sonepat Haryana on a lease to Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd. In 2005 they purchased a new Plant including Land Building for processing Fruits and Vegetables in Karnal and leased it to Chambal Fertilizers Chemicals for a consideration of Rs 120 lakh per annum. The same year, the company started Constructions activity at Dahej, Gujarat and in May 2007 sold the Sonepat plant to Chambal for Rs 12 crore. The company obtained two construction projects: one from ONGC at Dahej, Gujarat worked worth Rs 16.50 crore and another from IOCL at Panipat. In 2008, the company entered into a contract with Bunge S A for merchant trading of goods and commodities which the company completed in 2009. They leased their Karnal unit in 2007 to Temptation Foods Ltd and it was terminated on June 30 2009.
