Ador Fontech Ltd. was established in August 1974 as Cosmics Fontech and in 1993 it was converted to a public limited company. The company, which is an associate of Advani Oerlikon, was established by the promoters Ashda Dayal Lalvani Jai Kishan Chandna and Advani Oerlikon. In 1992, the company acquired two different companies, Fist India P Ltd and Kostech India Pvt Ltd, which were merged to become a division of the same. To further finance the expansion of Kostech facility at Nagpur, the company offered a public issue in March 1995. Ador Fontech provides products and solutions for reclaiming and welding, and recycling parts of machinery. The product line includes filler wires, welding and surfacing equipment, wire feeders, wearplates, and cladded pipes. The company has also collaborated with multiple companies from across the globe to offer value adding services like maintenance products from AREMCO USA. The company also has divisions like the Ahmednagar plant for the production of A series products and the Nagpur facility, which continues to expand for high-tech welding and metal spray services. Furthermore, the Zip Arc division offers a range of maintenance and surfacing alloys to solve wear and maintenance problems.
