Loop Industries, Inc., a technology company, focuses on depolymerizing waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastics and polyester fibers into its base building block monomers. The company's technology depolymerizes plastic bottles, packaging, carpets, and clothing into dimethyl terephthalate and monoethylene glycol.
