About XPRO India Ltd

Xpro India Ltd is a leading company in the polymer processing industry. They operate three divisions – Biax, Coex and Thermoset – with a combined production capacity of 27600 MT as of 200809. Xpro India Ltd was established in 1997 as part of the global Birla Group. During 1997-2008 several efforts were made to increase and diversify their offerings, such as the acquisition of a running BOPP Firm plant in 2003, joint venture with the Rani Group in 2005 and commencement of commercial production in 2006 and 2008 for BOPP Capacitor Film and Synthetic Resins and Moulding Powders respectively. In 2009 Xpro India Ltd incurs significant losses, leading them to acquire the shares of their joint venture and making them a wholly owned subsidiary. The company further enhances their facilities in 2010 with the addition of a second thermoforming line and a new Coextruded Sheet Line.
