About Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd

Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Limited, incorporated in 1995, is an integrated sugar and allied products manufacturing company based in Belgaum District, Karnataka. Commencing operations in 2001, the company manufactures sugar, power, distillery products such as ethanol, rectified and extra-neutral spirits, and Indian Made Liquor (IML). Also producing vinegar, compost, carbon dioxide (CO2), and pressmud, the company ensures quality assurance and control through its indigenous laboratories and regularly reviews its systems for effectiveness and improvement. During last fiscal year, the company produced 98415 tonnes of sugar. The company’s distillery unit produces rectified spirit and extra-neutral spirits for further processing, while the IML products are bottled and sold in the market. The company is also involved in 16 MW of power generation for sale, and forms compost and organic manure with the extracted spentwash for farmers. Finally, with a CO2 plant also in place, the company ensures that nothing is wasted and every output is utilized.
