About Visa Steel Ltd

Visa Steel Ltd (VSL) was incorporated in 1996 and is engaged in the manufacturing of Pig Iron, Coke Coking Coal, Steam Coal, Chrome Concentrated, and Iron Ore Fines. Ghotaringa Minerals Ltd is its subsidiary. VSL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Orissa to set up an integrated special and stainless steel plant at Kalinganagar, at a capital cost of approximately Rs. 960 million. In February 2021, VSL made an Initial Public Offer (IPO) of 35 million equity shares at a price of Rs. 52-57 per share, primarily for financing a Ferro Chrome plant, Sponge Iron plant, Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant, Special and Stainless steel Plant, and Associated Infrastructure facilities.
