About SMS Pharmaceuticals Ltd

SMS Pharmaceuticals Limited is a public company founded in December 1987. Focused on manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and intermediates, the company has two facilities in Hyderabad and one in Vijayanagaram Dist. During 2015, the company successfully completed US FDA audits, filed nine Drug Master Files, and became an associate company of M/s. VKT Pharma Private Limited by acquiring 1,225,900 equity shares. During 2016-17, the company also acquired 511,400 shares in Sireen Drugs Private Limited and invested in SMS Lifesciences India Limited. 2017-18 saw the Scheme of Arrangement between Demerged and Resulting Companies, approved by Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal and investment of 784,100 equity shares in VKT Pharma PVT LTD. In FY 2018-19, the company had 38,501,65 equity shares in VKT Pharma PVT LTD.
