About Shri Vasuprada Plantations Ltd

Established in 1874 and formally incorporated in 1900, Joonktollee Tea Co. Ltd. is a leader in producing quality tea in Upper Assam. The management and control of the company came into the hands of the Bangur family in 1954, changing their name to Joonktollee Tea Industries Limited. As of date, Joonktollee Tea Estate Assam covers an area of 1867.98 acres and produces over 388178 Kgs of tea. It is renowned for its premium orthodox tea and its green teas are highly sought after. The Company strengthened its resources by acquiring two south India-based plantation companies in 2001 and by completing a scheme of arrangement in 2006. Joonktollee Tea Industries Limited enters the new millennium determined to improve its performance across all sectors with unwavering support from customers, employees and shareholders.
