About Saraswati Commercial (India) Ltd

Saraswati Commercial India Limited is a Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) incorporated in January 1983 that is engaged in investment, trading and lending in shares and securities. In 2015, Mahotsav Trading and Finance Private Ltd (MTFPL) ceased its affiliation with the company. In 2017, the National Company Law Tribunal passed an order for the amalgamation of Aroni Commercials Limited (the transferor company), with Saraswati Commercial India (the transferee company). As a result of this, Sareshwar Trading and Finance Pvt Ltd and Arkaya Commercial Pvt Ltd became subsidiary companies of Saraswati Commercial India. Following this, the Board of Directors of Saraswati Commercial India announced a buyback of up to 60000 fully paid-up equity shares of the company valued at Rs. 10 each representing up to 5.82% of the total number of equity shares of the company. During the process, the company issued 390593 equity shares to the shareholders of Aroni Commercials Limited under the stipulated ratio and was approved from SEBI and listed. Following the announcement of the buyback, a total of 29665 equity shares were bought back at a price of Rs. 978 each amounting to Rs. 2,901,237 excluding transaction costs. By the completion of the process, the share capital of the Company decreased to Rs.10,009,280 Equity Shares from Rs. 10,305,930.
