About Sangam (India) Ltd

Sangam India, established in 1984, is a public company that manufactures and markets synthetic suitings for the Indian market. Since then, the company has undergone several expansion projects to improve their weaving and spinning capabilities. For example, in1994, the company installed 16 STB shuttleless Russian weaving machines to increase capacity from 43.95 mtr pd to 59.3 lac mtr pd. Additionally, the company has acquired land to extend their spinning project. Their fabric exports are also increasing. To further diversify their offerings, the company has turned to IT, establishing an office at the Software Technology Park and planning to venture into software development, web services, Ecommerce and portal development. Their expansion plans also involve a 1.9MW power generating set and installation of Knitting Machines. With investments in these projects, Sangam India is set on an upward trajectory of success.
