About Rane (Madras) Ltd

Rane Madras Ltd, a subsidiary of Rane Holdings Ltd, is a manufacturer of steering and suspension systems for the transportation industry. Their products include circulating ball type steering gears, rack and pinion type gears, tie rod assemblies, drag link assemblies, center link assemblies and gear shift balls joints. Their manufacturing facilties are located in Chennai, Kancheepuram,Tamil Nadu, Mysore, Karnataka, Thirubuvanai, Pondicherry and Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. In 2004 the company was incorporated as Rane Holdings Ltd, under the name Rane Madras Manufacturing Ltd in 2005, Name was changed to Rane Madras Ltd. In 2006, production capacity of they're Steering gear products was increased from 590300 Nos to 597500 Nos and a new plant was set up in Ambakkam, Varanasi Village, Kancheepuram to cater to the export markets. In 2007, Rane Holdings Ltd made additional investments in the company and Rane Madras Ltd became a wholly owned subsidiary of Rane Holdings Ltd.
