About Prakash Pipes Ltd

Prakash Pipes was founded by Mr. Ved Prakash Agarwal in 1981 and is now one of the leading brands of PVC pipes and fittings in India. It has grown from initially having a capacity of 2400MTPA to 55000MTPA, with facilities in India as well as international markets. It has a manufacturing plant in Kashipur, Uttarakhand which is spread over 60 acres and has 50 acres devoted to green plantation. After undergoing merger with Prakash Industries in April 2018, the Company has divided its plastics business into two segments, PVC pipes and fittings as well as flexible packaging. It serves a variety of industries such as FMCG, pharma, food and beverage, oil, beauty and personal care, etc. It recently undertook a capacity expansion which is in advanced stages of completion as well as ventured into the flexible packing business which has immense potential for growth. Other highlights include a Pan-India presence across five states, integration into backward businesses such as printing ink, blown PE film, etc for enhanced product quality, BRCGS, ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001:2015 certifications and an equity share allotment for an increase in paid-up capital from Rs. 20.41 crores to Rs. 23.91 crores.
