About Kush Industries Ltd

Suzlon Fibres SFL is a public limited company incorporated in Gujarat, India on March 4, 1992, with a capacity of 500 tonnes per annum (tpa). It manufactures twisted polyester filament yarn and micro filament yarn, and produces 5 lac metres of grey fabric at its GIDC Ankleshwar Bharuch district plant. To finance a Rs 5.70 crore project for the manufacture of PFY and micro filament yarn, the company issued an IPO of 23.70 lakh equity shares at par aggregating Rs 2.37 crore in March 1993. During 1998-99, the operation of the spinning project stabilized to produce top quality blended yarn of international standards, with the installation of 528 additional spindles in addition to the existing 12312 spindles and 6 weaving machines. The management increased the production capacity for PFY/micro filament yarn by 17 by installing additional 2208 spindles in the year 19992000, and was rewarded with a BVQI Certificate for maintaining high standards of quality as per ISO 9002:1994. Meanwhile, the Company's Draw Twisting Unit remained inoperative during 200102.
