About ICDS Ltd

ICDS, the finance company founded by the famed Pai Group, celebrated 25 years in 2020. Having grown to a total deposits of Rs 368 crore, ICDS has 42 branches and multiple representative offices, garnering confidence from banks and institutions with loans worth US 10 mln. In addition, through its hire purchase and leasing schemes, it has disbursed over Rs 500 crore. Having diversified into the hospitality industry with its launch of Central Park in Bangalore, ICDS merged with Manipal Investments Ltd in 1997, now having assets and liabilities vested in the company at book value. Furthermore, ICDS has ventured into electronic money transfers through the Wall Street Instant Cash, commencing in 5 branches in 2001. To facilitate this, 1666700 equity shares of Rs.10/ each with a premium of Rs.20/ per share was alloted on Preferential basis in 200001, increasing the company’s capital from Rs.1136 lakhs to Rs.1302.67 lakhs, with further plans to infuse Rs.500 lakhs.
