About GOCL Corporation Ltd

Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd is India’s leading company in lubricants and Emplobond clad products. Incorporated in 1961, the multi-location company has three main production centres (Hyderabad, Rourkela, and Bhiwandi) with factories and service centers across India. The company have also diversified their business into pharmaceuticals with a joint venture with Astra Pharmaceuticals AB Sweden in 1981, wind mills in 1997 and Iron ore mining in 2002-2003. During the year 200607, the Lubricants Division launched the country's first long drain engine oil with drain period of 36000 Kms. In October 2008, the Speciality Chemicals Division was transferred to IDL Agrochemicals Ltd, and in turn, the agriculture related business of the said subsidiary was transferred to the company.
