About Antarctica Ltd

Antarctica Graphics AGL, also known as Antarctica Ltd., is a top print business which began operations in 1982. In order to finance a 100 Rs 20.25crore EOU to produce printed packaging material, AGL came out with a public issue in Sept. 1994. AGL also has a Memorandum of Understanding with Man Roland Germany for technical assistance. Furthermore, this company has a 4 colour and a 5 colour offset printing press, making it a state-of-the-art colour pre-press unit with the latest imaging and graphic design systems. Its major clients are ITC, Shaw Wallace, Bata, MECON, Shalimar Paints, and STP. Some of the products AGL provides are colour supplements of newspapers and magazines, calendars, corporate brochures, product manuals, publicity materials, and packaging materials. AGL's expansion project at the Falta Export Processing Zone and its plans for setting up a 50/50 Joint Venture with Eltete Ltd of Finland is in the implementation stage and will include constructing an edgeboard manufacturing plant at a cost of Rs 12 crores. In order to finance the expansion of its edgeboard manufacturing plant and repaying Term Loans, AGL came out with a rights issue of 10.83 million equity shares of Rs 10 in the ratio of 1:1.
