About KIC Metaliks Ltd

In 1986, Kajaria Iron Castings was established as Prudential Marketing by its promoter Ravi Kumar Kajaria. Later, it underwent a change in company name and became a publicly listed organisation. Currently, it exports its goods to many countries, including the US, UK, West Europe and West Asia. The major products of the company are cast iron manhole covers, gully gratings and covers. In order to ensure successful backward integration, the company planned to establish a pig iron plant of 90000 tons per annum capacity in Raturia Durgapur. The construction work of the pig iron plant has already started, and a wholly-owned subsidiary has been setup in the UK for technical know-how and consultancy. In October 1994, the company raised a public issue with a premium of Rs 30.
