About Karnataka Bank Ltd

Karnataka Bank Ltd is a premier A Class Scheduled Commercial Bank in India founded in 1924 to provide banking services to the South Kanara Region. It now has 848 branches, 1026 ATMs, 454 cash recyclers, spread across 22 states and 2 Union Territories and provides Working Capital Finance, Term Loans, Infrastructure Finance and other services.In FY 2020 the Bank’s total deposits grew to Rs 71785.15 crore from Rs 68452.12 crore the year before. Advances grew to Rs 56964.27 crore from Rs 54828.20 crore, despite industry wide sluggishness. The Bank issued Bonus Shares, rewarding shareholders in the ratio of 1:10 and bagged several awards for excellent customer service. It also opened 72 branches in 9 states, including 9 under the Financial Inclusion Program and 32 in Karnataka. KBL Services Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Karnataka Bank was founded in 2020.
