About Hindustan Hardy Ltd

Hindustan Hardy Spicer Ltd. (formerly known as XLOGWB CARDAM SHAFTS LTD) was incorporated in 1982, specializing in the manufacture of propeller shafts and accessories used for automotive, industrial and other applications. The company entered into a technical licence agreement with Glenkwellenban GmbH GWB and technomarketing consultancy arrangement with XLO India for 10 years. To increase capital, GWB invested up to 26% globally and Dana Corporation USA represented this interest when they acquired GWB’s world wide propeller shaft business in 1999-2000. During this period, the company developed a range of new products and exports to UK, Srilanka, and Nepal. To accelerate their production rate, the company increased their propeller shaft capacity from 165000 Nos to 200000 Nos during 199697 and further to 245000 Nos during 200001.
