About BIL Vyapar Ltd

Binani Industries Ltd was established in 1962 and is a holding company operated through subsidiaries. It is primarily focused on zinc, cement, and glass fibre manufacturing through four subsidiaries - Binani Cement Ltd (BCL), Binani Zinc Ltd (BZL), Goa Glass Fibre Ltd (GGFL), and BT Composites Ltd (BTCL). Using sophisticated equipment from Bishop Technology US, the company created a glass fibre unit in Colvale, Goa, making it the largest in the country. The Moulding division of the company was moved in 2006-07 to the newly formed BTCL. With this move, Binani Industries Ltd stopped engaging in any manufacturing activities, however, BCL continues to remain a subsidiary with their paid-up capital now standing at Rs 4229.10 million. Binani Industries Ltd continues to focus on zinc, cement, and glass fibre manufacturing through their subsidiaries with a technical and financial involvement of Cominco Canada.
