Financial Technologies India Limited (FTIL) is a global leader in providing technology services and domain expertise for digital transactions and financial markets. Formed in 1988 as a private limited company by C Subramaniam and associates, it was converted to public limited in 1994. The company has since achieved numerous milestones such as deploying India’s first MultiExchange Internet trading platform in 2001, launching the first wireless internet mobile dealing desk in 2004, establishing the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) in 2005, and acquiring 90% stake of South Africa-based ICX platform in 2008. Through its exchange offerings, FTIL has been successful in achieving its goal of providing better service in markets that were either underserved or economically unviable to be served by traditional players.
