About DigiSpice Technologies Ltd

Spice Mobility Ltd (formerly Spice Mobiles Ltd) is part of the Spice Group and has an exclusive telecom ecosystem in India. Founded in 1986, the company has evolved from minicomputer and microprocessor manufacturing to mobile handsets trading and networking of computer hardware. Over the years they have diversified their activities to include mobile handsets and various IT services like the mobile VAS, digital lifestyle Retail and Mobile Internet Applications. After a joint venture agreement termination in 1999, the company was renamed to Spice Mobility Ltd in 2007 to reflect their core business activity. During 2009-10, they commenced manufacturing of mobile handsets at Baddi Himachal Pradesh to become the first Indian mobile brand to do local manufacturing. In 2011, the company was renamed to S Mobility Ltd.

In 2012, the Spice Global Investments Private Limited transferred the company's entire shareholding to a wholly owned subsidiary, S i2i Mobility Private Ltd. The mobile handset business was transferred to another subsidiary company, Spice Retail Ltd, in 2013-14. In 2016, the company sold off its retail businesses and operations to another subsidiary company. During 2017-18, assets and liabilities of Digital Technology Services was transferred into S Mobility Ltd, making it a Digital Technology Service Business Company.

The company has since acquired or divested various shares and holdings, including acquiring 100% shares in Kimman Exports Pvt. Ltd., divesting its entire stake in Adgyde Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and acquiring 15000 equity shares of EArth Travel Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in 2020-21. Through continuous development and expansion, Spice Mobility Ltd has emerged into a multifaceted telecommunications and mobile phone provider.
