About Zota Health Care Ltd

Zota Health Care Limited is a renowned pharmaceutical company incorporated in 2000 and based in Surat, Gujarat. It manufactures, markets and exports pharmaceutical, ayurvedic, nutraceutical and over-the-counter (OTC) products to address the needs of millions of people. The company has three business verticals, Marketing, Exports and Retail Pharmacy Chain with 1050 distributors across India. Through Davaindia, its largest private-sector generic pharmacy chain, the company is making strong inroads into the generic retail business and focuses on providing quality generic medicines at 30 to 90 percent discounts compared to branded equivalents. Davaindia has 591 stores as of March 2021 operating on a unique asset-light franchise model. The company’s Sachin SEZ facility serves customers in 30 countries and currently has 253 dossiers approved with 311 filed and pending approval. In order to create top-of-mind brand recall for Davaindia, the company has undertaken aggressive marketing campaigns and promotions featuring Mr. Kapil Dev as an icon for integrity, excellence and willpower to create awareness around generic drugs.
