About Zodiac Clothing Company Ltd

Zodiac Clothing Company (ZCL) was initially started as a private limited company in 1984. It quickly advanced its production techniques and quality standards to meet the exacting demands of the Western European markets and went public with a maiden issue in June 1994. To increase production and exports, it invested in a fully owned Swiss subsidiary in 1995 and later acquired Metropolitan Trading Company in a going concern basis. In 2002-03, ZCL amalgamated its subsidiary Mayfair Multiplex Collapsible Tubes into the company. It has also entered into a technical agreement with Zodiac UAE LLC Dubai for a five-year period. The company now has an existing licensed capacity of 100,000 units in Umbergaon Gujarat and has invested in a new production facility with an annual capacity of 500,000 shirts in Bangalore.
